Worley Parsons Partners with STW

Engineering giant Worley Parsons has signed a memorandum of understanding with water reclamations services company STW Resources to pursue joint business opportunities with American and Australian municipalities and companies within the energy sector.

Midland, Texas-based STW and WorleyParsons are currently analyzing the design of a water treatment system with a municipality looking to alternative sources for water rather than traditional surface or fresh water aquifers, according to an STW statement. STW also reclaims water from gas shale hydro-fracturing flowback, oil and gas projects and acid mine drainage.

The MoU will allow STW to provide total solution services consisting of engineering, process and design, technology, installation and operation, and financing for water projects.
